Slovenská záručná a rozvojová banka (SZRB) has already received funds from the European Investment Bank´s line (EIB). Thus the Bank is able to start providing a new type of loan – INVEST Loan – for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs.

INVEST Loans provided from the EIB´s resources are intended for financing of investment plans and operating needs of the entrepreneurs employing up to 250 employees. The loan maturity period is 10 years a maximum. The INVEST Loan is attractive also thanks to its interest rate that is reduced by 0.2% when compared to the standard interest rate.

The SZRB has obtained from the EIB a credit line amounting to 50 million Euros. “We want to place these funds during the years 2009 and 2010 and thus contribute even more to the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Slovakia,” says Ing. Dušan Tomašec, the director general of the SZRB.
